PM Awas Yojana – The Government has allocated more than 2.17 lakh houses to the urban poor in six states. The number of houses allocated under the housing scheme of the central government has increased to 26 lakhs. This information was given on Monday in an official statement by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, by spending Rs.2200 crores, about 40 thousand houses will be constructed in the urban areas of Jharkhand. The government is working on a plan to provide permanent housing for all by 2022. Under this, one house will be constructed for the cost of five and a half lakh rupees.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Jamshedpur – The work of four components of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of the Central Government is in progress to make the city look beautiful and systematic. Under one component, houses will be built for six thousand poor people living in slums in Adityapur.

According to the sources, there are 45 housing finance companies, 15 scheduled banks, two regional rural banks, one cooperative bank, four small finance companies and three non-banking finance companies. All these financial institutions have signed an agreement with National Housing Bank.
