The Union Government has constructed a total number of 27,310 housing units and 48,483 units are constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Jharkhand. For this constructing, the central government has also released a total amount of Rs. 497.34 crore. Besides this, the government has allotted an assistance of Rs 2290.62 crore of which Rs 497.34 crore have already been sanctioned. It had allotted a total number of 1,54,759 housing units for Jharkhand under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban PMAY (U), of which the groundbreaking work has been completed for 75,793 units in 41 cities and towns. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban – MHUA, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs has given approval for constructing a total number of additional 1,86,777 affordable housing units for giving a permanent roof to the urban homeless poor under its ambitious scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). PM Awas Yojana Jaunpur – For conducting surveys and beneficiaries of the beneficiaries of the Central Government’s ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (urban) and for the authentication of their records, camps have been started in the city corporation as per the prescribed date. The work of the survey is being done by the representatives of Saryu Babu Engineering India Private Limited selected by the government.
Central government offers subsidy in interest for the amount of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 18 lakh under its ambitious scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme’. The maximum benefit of this scheme will be given to the MIG and BPL families. It is divided into different categories and the subsidy given will also be divided.

The Central government of India has set an ambitious target to construct about 12 lakh affordable housing units under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Delhi in the financial year 2017-18. However, only 1.49 lakh houses were built under the scheme in 2016-17.
The state government of Haryana is going to conduct a PM Awas Yojana Demand Survey under the PM Awas Yojana (Urban). The survey work will run from June 1 and run until July 15.
Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council has added a total of 2460 flats of different schemes under the PM Awas yojana in Ghaziabad division. In addition to the Mandla circle shelter, apart from Siddha, Ganga, Hindan and Yamuna Yojna under Siddhartha Vihar Yojna, apart from Shikhar Enclave, Brahmaputra Yojna and EWS flats in Vasundhara Sector-4C are included.
