PM Awas Yojana Gramin – The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Housing for All was launched by the NDA Government with an aim of providing housing for all.
The Central Government of India has set a target of constructing about 51 lakh affordable housing units in the financial year 2017-18 to achieve its target of one crore affordable housing units by the year 2019 under its ambitious scheme PMAY Gramin (PMAY-G).
The dream of having a pucca house of the people living in rural areas of Bihar will now fulfill by the government’s ambitious scheme PM Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAYG). This scheme will now help the rural poor by providing them a financial assistance for the construction of a concrete house.
Finance minister Arun Jaitley said that Rs 23,000 crore for will be sanctioned for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAYG) for 2017-18. The main motto of this scheme is to provide an affordable housing to all the homeless people of the people living in mud houses.
