Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rajasthan – Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Rajendra Rathod reviewed the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana with the representatives of the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, representatives of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, to review the progress of housing scheme.
Over 2 Lakh Poor Families will be Benefitted this Year Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rajasthan
During this, Minister Rathod said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Rajasthan is ranked 5th in the country in housing construction. Giving the progress of housing construction, the Government of India has allocated targets of providing housing to 70 thousand households in the year 2018-19. The target for construction of 1 lakh 43 thousand houses for the year 2018-19 in the state were allocated by the Government of India, now in Rajasthan this year, two lakh 13 thousand houses will be constructed.

On this occasion, Rathod instructed the officials for effective monitoring and benefit the beneficiaries from the schemes like electricity, gas, water, and mattresses etc. He said that after the completion of the construction of housing, the developers did not upload or report on the app. Send them an immediate charge sheet. In addition, he said that release of guideline for uniformity of all the housing dwellers.
On this occasion, Prashant Kumar, Joint Secretary, Government of Rural Development, reviewed the detail of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the rural development scheme run in the state, that progress of housing construction in Rajasthan is satisfactory. Considering this situation, in the year 2018-19, 70 thousand additional targets have been allocated.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary-General of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Rajeshwar Singh instructed the officers to provide relief to the poor homeless families by completing the allocated targets in the housing scheme, they gave strict instructions to the officials that in any situation the negligence will not be tolerated.
