PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – Gruh Pravesh Saptah will be celebrated from 14 November to 20 November in Saraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. During this period, housing for all beneficiaries will be prepared and allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In view of the government’s instructions, the district administration is increasingly engaged in the construction of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

As per the information received, 9032 houses have to be constructed under the financial year 2016-17. In the financial year 2017-18, the target of construction of 2970 houses has been kept. However, there is a shortage of sand in the ongoing efforts of the construction of these houses.

Due to this, the speed of the work is slow. Such situation has remained after the ban of sand bear. Although the administration is engaged in an effort to complete the work through alternative arrangements.

However, the speed in the work is not available. Regarding this, Anita Sahai, director of the District Rural Development Agency said that due to the shortage of sand, there has been little effect in the implementation of Prime Minister Housing Schemes. However, she said that the entire government machinery was set up to complete the work. It is being tried that all the work should be done before the home entrance week.
