PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – 40,000 Houses to be Constructed
PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, by spending Rs.2200 crores, about 40 thousand houses will be constructed in the urban areas of Jharkhand. The government is working on a plan to provide permanent housing for all by 2022. Under this, one house will be constructed for the cost of five and a half lakh rupees.

According to the Cabinet Secretary Surender Singh Meena, the central government will give 600 crores and the state government will also give 600 crores rupees. The remaining one thousand crores will be taken from the builders and those who will be given houses.
The approval of the Jharkhand State Board of Housing has been approved in nine and ten. As per the revised rules 9, those earning between three to six lakh annually will be given minor income category houses. 6 to 12 lakh income holders have been kept in the middle-income class category.
According to Rule 10, land’s raiyats will be taken for housing board, they will be given 10 percent of the land. Out of this, eight per cent of the land will be used for residential purposes and two per cent of commercial work is utilized. While changing the Rule 7 of the Jharkhand Improvement Trust 2002, the 60-day period has been reduced to 30 for the petition in the master plan.
