Monitoring of Houses Under PM Awas Yojana

The Monitoring of the houses comes under PM Awas Yojana will be online. For this, the Central Government has made an ‘Awaas App’ Software. Through this, the complete monitoring of the construction of the housing could be done.

Departmental officials said that during the construction of the housing, the monitoring work will be done through the ‘Awas Software App’ developed by the Central Government.

The photographs of the complete construction of the building will have to be uploaded on the app. Action will be taken if there will found any negligence in it. In the PM Awas Yojana, the goal of constructing 467 houses was given to the Jhunjhunun district. Of these, 435 were sanctioned at the cost of 68.40 lakh rupees. Out of this 257 works have been started, while 178 works have not started.

Complete Accommodation will be Built in 1.48 Lakh

The government will give Rs 1.48 lakh to the selected family in two installments. This amount will be deposited online in the eligible person’s account. Half of the amount has been given at the beginning of construction of housing and the remaining half of the amount will be given on the completion of the construction of the house. The design of housing under the scheme has also been made available. It features rooms, stores, kitchens, and other facilities including toilets.

Acceptance after Tagging

Now the workers in the field where the beneficiary is constructing, upload the photo of the plot and upload it to the ‘Awas App’. After physical verification, the amount is accepted for housing.
