PM Awas Yojana Chandigarh: Administration Ready to Give Land for 10000 Flats
The administration has agreed to give the land to the CHB for the 10 thousand flats built in the first phase of PM Awas Yojana. By the end of this week, the administration will transfer 50 acres of land to the CHB. After this, the CHB will launch the scheme by deciding the number of different categories of houses.Flats will be constructed in a six-storey building. This land is expected to be given in the southern sector. Nearly 600 acres of land is empty. At the same time, about 45 thousand applications have been received for the EWS, LIG, MIG-1 and 2 category flats under the scheme.
18 days for application now
It is known that at present 36 thousand people have applied online for Demand Survey for EWS, LIG, MIG-1 and 2 category flats. The CHB is getting a very good response. However, more than 6000 people have applied manually in the CHB office. Any application can be made by April 20th.
No charge on online application
Online invoices are completely free, while the cost of the application form is Rs 10. After a lot of fierce fighting in the CHB office to fill the form for the first three days, the administration has now started taking application forms on e-contact and kiosks.

Under the scheme, those people who are already living in this city on June 17, 2015, will be able to apply. Applicant should have a base and voter card. Also, in the name of the applicant, there should not be any house and plot in the country. According to CHB, you can apply for LIG of income up to Rs 3 lakh per annum under the EWS category
and income of six lakh. While the MIG-1 and earnings of 6 to 12 lakhs can apply under the MIG-2 flat which has a revenue of 12 to 18 lakh rupees.
