Out of this 2.50 acres will be provided to the builders.

After the IHSDP, Housing for All, the Central Government has now started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under this, a promise to give the house to every person has been promised. For this, the Municipal Corporation has applied from all over the city. There are 25 thousand applications for the house. There are 3 thousand houses in the first phase. The approval for construction of 493 houses in Talipara’s Minimata town has been approved by the government.

Bilaspur, the first municipal corporation in Chhattisgarh, got approval under this scheme. Executive Engineer PK Panchayat said that houses will be built under Public Private Partnership. Mini Matanagar has 7.50 acres of government land and will be constructed in 5 acres. 2.50 acres will be given to builders who make the house. Builders will not be given a single rupee for this on behalf of the government. The cost of a house will be 5 lakh 52 thousand rupees. Rs. 27 crores will be spent in 493 houses. There will be two rooms in the house, toilet, kitchen, community building in the vacant land, garden facilities.

Construction for Housing for All, Ashok Nagar and Nutan Chowk continues: Under the Housing Four All scheme, 256 houses are being constructed in Nutan Chowk. Its plinth work has been completed. Instructions have been given to speed up the work after the rain. Under the scheme, there will be two rooms, lathe baths, kitchen facilities in the building. At the same time, 1332 houses are being constructed in Ashok Nagar. Suresh Barua, in-charge of the planning cell told that work is going on in both places. The survey has been done before starting this scheme. The cost of a house is 4 lakh rupees. The beneficiary will have to deposit 65 thousand rupees.

Under the Prime Minister’s housing scheme, sanction has been approved for the construction of houses in Minimata town. Will be tender soon.
