Kalyana Laxmi Yojana is basically a welfare scheme by the Government of Telangana mostly for the poverty stricken families and economically backward section of the state who are stuck under the expenses of their daughter’s marriage Laxmi .
Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao’s scheme Kalyana Laxmi was made to be implemented from the Dussehra festival. Under this, tribal and Dalit women getting married will be given a wedding gift of Rs 51,000 by the government. Crores of rupees have been invested by the Government of Telangana for the benefit of all the eligible poor. Also, 64 Kalyana Laxmi Yojana and 58 Shaadi Mubarak checks have been handed over at the local circle office. An official said that the government will ensure that these helpful schemes reach the poor in future as well.

Applicants Age should be 18 years.
Applicants should belong to below poverty line classes.
The bride should belong to a minority group.
SC category applicants income should be 2,00,000/-.
ST category applicants income should be 2,00,000/-.
The income of EBC (Economically Backward Class) and BC (Backward Class) category of rural part should be 1,50,000/-.
