Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin Nagaland
Nagaland Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin: was made for the effective implementation of the rural population. It was launched by the Minister for rural development. It was launched in Kohima on March 1. It aims to bring realistic transformation in the lives of the rural people. Govt. Launches Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana PMAYG Nagaland.
It wants to fill the gap in rural housing and to fulfill the government’s commitment to providing houses to the people of the rural areas.
This programme has been implemented for quite some time. The ministers asked the officers to educate the VDB’s for optimal and successful implementation. It also provides financial assistance to the people for the construction of houses and toilets.
Proper care has to be taken by the department to see that all the resources are being judiciously utilized for the benefit of the people. This project aims to remove poverty in the rural areas and improve the living standard of the rural people.
The shelter is one of the basic necessities of human beings. This project provides houses to the people of the rural areas. A collective drive should ensure that the PMAY-G is effectively implemented and maximum benefit is derived from this project.
Various schemes have been started in India which works for the upliftment of the standard of living of the people.
The State Government has also come up with a 2030 Vision Document by incorporating all spheres of the development.
Proper engagement and coordination are required for rural development to bring rapid development.
A transparent mechanism will monitor the implementation of the scheme and the construction also.An officer will be appointed to monitor the progress of the project at each Gram Panchayats. The selection process will be very transparent.
