Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Bareilly – The Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Board (UPHDB) is going to construct a total number of 5,000 housing units in Bareilley under the central government’s ambitious scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for providing affordable housing unit to the homeless people of the country. These housing units will be constructed in the Bareilly District. For this, there will be a requirement of a total of 12.5-hectare land. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Kanpur – Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, applications have been started for 21840 flats in Kanpur city. Apart from the 68 thousand beneficiaries included in DUDA’s list, other citizens can also apply. For this, the application forms can be obtained from HDFC Bank. Applicants will have to submit the duly filled application from till November 17. These housing units are to be constructed at different places in the city. Even after the selection of 68 thousand beneficiaries, only 10281 applications were received for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The reason behind it was that initially people thought that PM Awas Yojana Houses would be given free of charge. It was later clarified that after the central and state government subsidy, these apartments of 30 sqm will be available in two lakh rupees. » Read more

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 6.25 Lakh Houses Sanction – The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has approved the construction of over 6.25 Lakh residential houses in urban areas under the central government’s ambitious housing scheme named “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana”. According to the news, the number of houses sanctioned for construction under this PMAY so far has increased to more than 60 lakh.
