The Union Government has constructed a total number of 27,310 housing units and 48,483 units are constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Jharkhand. For this constructing, the central government has also released a total amount of Rs. 497.34 crore. Besides this, the government has allotted an assistance of Rs 2290.62 crore of which Rs 497.34 crore have already been sanctioned. It had allotted a total number of 1,54,759 housing units for Jharkhand under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban PMAY (U), of which the groundbreaking work has been completed for 75,793 units in 41 cities and towns. Assam Affordable Housing Policy – The state government of Assam led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sarabananda Sonowal has informed that the state government is going to construct a total number of 83,000 affordable housing units in urban areas. These affordable housing units will be made for the people belong to the financially weaker section of the society. Apart from this, these housing units will be constructed under a new Assam Affordable Housing Policy of the Assam Government.
Bengal Gramin Awas Yojana – The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bengal Mamta Banerjee announced that the state government will provide affordable homes to about five lakh people in the rural area. She announced that the state government will provide these affordable houses to about five lakh families under Bengal Gramin Awas Yojana.

PMAY Noida Housing Scheme 2018 – The State Government of Uttar Pradesh Government is going to provide 80,000 affordable housing units in Noida to the investors by the end of March 2018. These housing units are located at Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Areas. For the purpose of providing these houses, the state government will also take strict actions against the builders who are unable to deliver these houses on time. The state government will provide these housing units under the Central Government’s ambitious scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
PM Awas Yojana Jammu & Kashmir – JKRDD, the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Development Department is going to complete the construction work of 7,000 affordable housing units under the Central Government’s ambitious scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (PMAY) by the end of March 2018.
