Sarvbhomik Kifayati Awas Yojana– According to the Central Government of India, Sarvbhomik Kifayati Awas Yojana will boost the construction industry and in the next three years, 1.2 Crore affordable housing units will be constructed under the urban component of PMAY, whereas under its rural component a total number of 1.02 crore housing units will be constructed by March of 2019. Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa said in the presence of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley after the Union Cabinet meeting that the Sarvbhomik Kifayati Awas Yojana would give a boost to the manufacturing industry.

PM Awas Yojana – The Government has allocated more than 2.17 lakh houses to the urban poor in six states. The number of houses allocated under the housing scheme of the central government has increased to 26 lakhs. This information was given on Monday in an official statement by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
PM Awas Yojana – After the latest estimations made by the state governments, the Central Government has reduced the number of houses made for the urban poor till 2022 under the center’s ambitious housing scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). According to a report, the government has said that it needs to build 1.2 Crores new houses, whereas earlier this estimate was 1.8 crore. The old estimate was based on the projections of 2012.

The Central government sanctioned 12,024 houses under the PMAY-NTR Nagar housing scheme in the first phase for Vijayawada city. As part of mega housing project, 10,624 housing units will be constructed in Jakkampudi village, 440 housing units in Dal mill area and 960 housing units in KL Rao Nagar in One town.
PMAY Meghalaya – The Meghalaya State’s ‘Mawthadraishan’ block located in West Khasi Hills district has become the first block in the state to implement the Central Government’s ambitious scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G), an ambitious housing scheme in which a permanent housing unit if provided to the homeless people of the nation.
The Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) is going to construct about 5,012 housing units for the people of EWS category in Delhi. This was decided on Tuesday during the 19th meeting of the Board presided over by Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
PM Awas Yojana Muzaffarnagar – The Muzaffarnagar city’s name is not mentioned in the first list of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The list of only 925 beneficiaries from the district went to the government, which has been approved. Of these, 743 habitations will be built in the six district panchayats and 182 district housing districts. While accepting the money of the beneficiaries, the government has directed to complete the housing work till December 2018.
PM Awas Yojana Bareilly – Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, this year 1029 houses of poor will be ready. Its target has been allocated by the government. Now the DRDA will share this target with Blockwise.
PM Awas Yojana Andhra Pradesh – The Central Government is going to construct 1.2 lakh affordable housing units for poor, including slum-dwellers in the state soon under its ambitious scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for all (urban)’ / PM Awas Yojana Andhra Pradesh. Recently, the central government has sanctioned about Rs 50 crore to the Andhra Pradesh towards the first installment of Central assistance for the financial year 2016-17.
PM Awas Yojana Tamil Nadu – The State Government of Tamil Nadu had urged the Central Government for increasing the sanctions of housing units under PM Awas Yojana Tamil Nadu. After that, it is expected that the Central Government can enhance the number of houses for the ambitious flagship program for the state.
PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – Gruh Pravesh Saptah will be celebrated from 14 November to 20 November in Saraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. During this period, housing for all beneficiaries will be prepared and allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In view of the government’s instructions, the district administration is increasingly engaged in the construction of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
PM Awas Yojana Bilaspur – PM Awas Yojana Bilaspur has got approval from the government. Under this scheme, 493 houses will be constructed in Mini Mata Nagar. 27 crores will be spent on this. The house will be built under Public Private Partnership. Builders will not be given the money to build the house, but instead, they will be given land. 7.50 acres of land in Minimata town. Out of this 2.50 acres will be provided to the builders.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the cost of construction per house increased by about two to two and a half thousand rupees is estimated in government estimation. The assessment of the expenditure on different schemes is being done in a new way by assessing such kind in all departments of the government. The Ministry of Rural Development has assessed the cost of the scheme comes under the Ministry i.e. the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and MNREGA. A little difference has been found in all schemes. According to the Ministry of Rural Development, due to GST, there has been a change in the tax rates on commodities. Tax rates have been increased on some items, some have decreased.

Housing Challenge – The Central Government of India has all set to launch a similar technology competition to provide encouragement to the Housing for All program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This competition will be known as Housing Challenge. It would be held by states to select the best and most cost-effective technology for each affordable housing project.

PM Awas Yojana Faridabad– Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, people living in Slum Area who do not have filled the application form till now. Form will be filled by such people at their house. Recently, the municipal corporation has received orders in this regard from the Central Government. This work will be handed over to the private agency looking at the work of the PM Awas Yojana. Employees of the agency will go to Slum Area and fill the online form on the spot. The tablet will be used to fill online forms.

PM Awas Yojana Jharkhand – Director of the Urban Development Department of the Jharkhand Government, Ashish Singhmar, on Friday ordered the bodies to speed up the construction work of the PM Awas Yojana (PMAY) through video conferencing. Singhmar told all the bodies of the state that the Chief Minister ordered that houses being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have to be admitted to 40 thousand houses in the entire state on Gandhi Jayanti.
